ಮೀನುಗಾರಿಕೆ ಇಲಾಖೆ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಅರ್ಹ ಫಲಾನುಭವಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮೀನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವ ಸಲಕರಣೆಗಳ ಉಚಿತ ಕಿಟ್ ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. Free kits of fishing equipment were distributed to eligible persons by the Department of Fisheries.

ಮಾನ್ಯ ಅರಣ್ಯ, ಜೀವಿ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಸರ ಸಚಿವರ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಇಂಧನ ಸಚಿವರು, ಮಾನ್ಯ ನೀರಾವರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಜೈವಿಕ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಚಿವರ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಗಳೂರು, ಕೊಡಗು ಮತ್ತು ಹಾಸನ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ ಆನೆ ಹಾವಳಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಪರಿಹಾರ ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಕುರಿತು ಇಂದು ಬೆಳಗಾವಿಯ ಸುವರ್ಣ ಸೌಧದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. Under the chairmanship of the Hon'ble Minister of Forests, Biodiversity and Environment and in the presence of the Hon'ble Minister of Energy, Hon'ble Minister of Irrigation and Biotechnology, a meeting was held at Suvarna Soudha, Belgaum today to discuss finding an appropriate solution to the elephant menace in Chikkamagaluru, Kodagu and Hassan districts.
